- 2+ years of experience developing in Python
- 1+ year technically leading a team small (2-3 people): code reviews,
mentoring, definition of standards. - Experience managing workflows in Jira (or equivalent: Linear, ClickUp):
epics, sprints, refinement, estimates - Experience with agent development frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain or similar)
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation): implementation of agent pipelines Semantic search, vector stores, and hybrid search strategies (keyword + embedding)
- Design of Tools for agents: creation of tools that the LLM invokes, context management (prompt engineering, context window optimization, multi-model routing),
and orchestration of flows with interruptions (HITL) - Implementation and consumption of REST APIs (FastAPI or similar frameworks)
- Understanding of architecture systems: microservices, queues, relational databases (PostgreSQL), and state patterns
Micelio we are a startup founded 3 years ago that is making people talk with our innovations with AI and VR in digital marketing. We are a team with high autonomy, proactive and always supporting each other. We are located in Chile and have operations in Mexico. We are looking for a Tech Lead to join our team and lead the development of our AI Agent specialized in marketing. You will technically lead a team of
2 developers (with growth projection) and will initially report to the current
Tech Lead, and subsequently to the CTO.
Job functions
This role is to replace the current Tech Lead, who will accompany you in an onboarding and transfer process of approximately 2 months, until you operate with total autonomy over the platform. You will receive technical knowledge, product context and relationships with stakeholders without feeling like you are getting to "put out fires" without context. If you are passionate about technical challenges, artificial intelligence and working in high innovation environments, this opportunity is for you! Your functions will include:
- Infrastructure design and implementation: Manage deployments in GCP using
- Docker Compose, maintain containerized services (API, database, frontend) and ensure the stability of the production environment.
- Artificial intelligence: Develop and evolve a multi-model conversational agent based on LangGraph, including subgraph orchestration, tools integration, Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) patterns and real-time voice mode.
- Technical management: Ensure technical quality, compliance with standards,
observability (tracing with Langfuse) and performance in each development. - Team leadership: Mentor 2 developers, do code reviews, lead 1:1s, define code standards and promote the technical growth of the team.
- Backlog management: Manage the workflow in Jira (epics, sprints, ticket refinement, estimates), prioritize the technical roadmap along with the product and give visibility of the progress towards stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Lead and raise requirements from non-technical areas (marketing,
sales), translate them into technical specifications and define priorities based on the
business.
