Description: About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in backend engineering, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience in Python frameworks and be capable of leading technical discussions, mentoring junior developers, and delivering high‑quality scalable solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.Architect and implement microservices, REST APIs, and modular backend components.Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and adherence to best engineering practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, QA, and Architecture.Review code, drive technical discussions, and mentor junior team members.Integrate third‑party APIs, cloud-native services, and automation tools.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical roadmaps.Required Technical Skills7+ years of hands‑on experience in Python development.Strong proficiency in Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI.Excellent understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.Proven experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous programming.Database expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB (relational & NoSQL).Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Cloud experience with AWS / Azure / GCP (at least one is mandatory).Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or other messaging systems.Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, and Agile development practices.Preferred SkillsExperience in data engineering, ETL pipelines, or workflow orchestration tools.Exposure to AI/ML libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow.Understanding of distributed systems, high‑availability, and large-scale architectures.Experience participating in architecture reviews and contributing to technical strategy.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to guide, mentor, and support junior developers.High sense of ownership with a focus on delivery excellence and quality.Educational QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).S​YNECHRON’S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
