We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team for this fully remote opportunity!
About the Role:
The Senior Software Engineer is a member of the Identity Governance Engineering team and is responsible for the design and development of various components in an access rights management web application using Javascript to audit and review employee privileges through a singularly, user-friendly interface in AWS cloud environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test new features in web components and backend services of the product
- Assist with, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.
- Help improve product quality and performance.
- Deliver releases, functionality, and updates on schedule, with scope as defined by Product Management.
- Create high-quality code testable through automation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant software engineering experience delivering, maintaining and supporting complex web applications.
- 5+ years of experience with Javascript development
- 3+ years of experience with either SQL or Java development
- Experience working with Django or another comparable web framework in AWS
- Experience writing unit tests and high-quality code testable through automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact well with both internal teams and external customers and partners
