We’re seeking a hands-on and proactive Python Developer that wants to be a part of creating real things.

You’ll be diving deep into our existing systems, working primarily with Python and Django. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in building and fine-tuning large-scale integrations with third-party systems. You won't just be writing code; you'll be enhancing the overall efficiency, speed, scalability, and extensibility of our applications. As our systems have matured over time, your ability to work effectively with legacy code will be of immense value.

A significant part of this role requires you to interface with our business teams. We expect you to not only have the technical knowledge but also the acumen to confront your ideas with the business side, ensuring that all development aligns with our overarching objectives.



Growth Department

This department was created as a result of the integration of eCommerce and Performance Marketing teams. Growth, together with the Operations Department, is responsible for guiding the user through the complete user path. The primary responsibility of Growth is to reach conversion goals. By combining those two teams we are able to create a coherent and smooth customer journey while improving the efficiency of our marketing efforts.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Python 3.9, Django 3.2 and Django REST Framework 3.13 on the e-commerce side of the company.

  • Ensure the optimization of our applications, guaranteeing faster response times and better system efficiency.

  • Continuously refactor the codebase, but always with a clear understanding of the business value. Every line of code you change should reflect not just technical improvements but also promote business goals.

  • Implement potential architectural changes. This doesn't mean reinventing the wheel, but rather enhancing it.

  • Drive automation wherever possible. In addition, you'll be responsible for creating tools that benefit our internal processes and workflows, ensuring smoother operations.

  • Collaborate closely with our frontend experts, ensuring seamless integration and a unified objective.

  • Accept and provide feedback during Code Reviews

You will be fairly remunerated – 15 000 – 20 000 PLN +VAT (depending on your skills and experience).

 
Expectations:
  • Commercial experience with Python and Django (2+ years)
  • Experience developing and integrating APIs
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL
  • Best practices enthusiast
  • Good command of written and spoken Polish and English language
  • Possibility to work from our office (in Warsaw) once every two months
