We are now looking for 1 test engineer for our customer in 4300 St. Valentin. Your tasks: * Development and Execution of test procedures for systems and subsystems, in particular functional, performance and safety tests in the area of precision farming * Execution of validation plans and tests both in the laboratory and in the field, for example on test sites or at customers' sites * Documentation, evaluation and communication of test results as well as recording and tracking of errors in corresponding systems * Support in the root cause analysis of errors and checking whether these have been eliminated through corrective measures * Collaboration with various internal departments, in particular development, engineering, marketing and vehicle technology * Supporting the development team in vehicle tuning and targeted testing of automatic steering systems (auto guidance) and precision farming software Your profile: * Bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or comparable technical field * 1-2 years of experience in electronics Troubleshooting, diagnostics or related areas * Knowledge of communication protocols: Serial, CAN, cellular, WLAN, GPS and ISOBUS * Background in agriculture, construction, automotive industry or comparable off-road vehicles * Willingness to travel of approx. 30% and fluent English skills * Ideally 2 years of experience with agricultural machinery, precision farming or connected vehicle systems * 1-2 years of experience in development and execution of test plans * Confident oral and written communication skills as well as good MS Office knowledge, especially in Word and Excel * Independent, structured way of working, ability to prioritize and adapt in dynamic work environments with minimal supervision, customer orientation * Experience with Vector tools, dSPACE or comparable tools for data acquisition and analysis of bus systems is an advantage * Programming knowledge in CAPL, Python or C++ * Knowledge of HIL systems (hardware-in-the-loop) Our offer: * Remuneration: € 84,210.00 gross/year (plus any relevant bonuses) * Working hours: full-time employment - 38.5 hours/week, day shift * Place of work: 4300 St. Valentin * Extensive training together with a motivated and dynamic team * Flexible working time models and work arrangements, attractive savings and retirement benefits * Support with further training through reimbursement of tuition fees Start your new professional future now and apply.
