Do you want to build software that is actually used during your internship? At Berenschot you work on digital platforms for municipalities, healthcare institutions and educational organizations. You develop backend applications and APIs, think about smart technical solutions and learn to work with modern technologies such as Python, FastAPI and Azure.
You will be part of an experienced development team from day one and will have plenty of room to develop yourself. We don't expect you to be able to do everything: we believe curiosity, eagerness to learn and enthusiasm are more important than a perfect technical match. This is what you will do
At Berenschot we develop and manage various digital platforms and applications. Consider benchmark platforms for municipalities and healthcare institutions, subsidy platforms for education and internal tools for data and advice projects.
As a backend development intern, you contribute to improving, expanding and modernizing these applications. You help build new functionalities, APIs and cloud solutions and learn how professional software development works in practice.
For example, you are involved in: -
Developing backend applications and APIs in Python -
Working on performance, scalability and maintainability of applications -
Contributing to new platform functionalities -
Supporting migrations to modern architectures -
Collaborating with frontend developers and other developers within the team -
Contributing to cloud solutions and automation in Azure
