Description: Are you an experienced software developer with knowledge of Python and affinity with high-tech systems? What will you do? In this position you will have the opportunity to work on complex software and high-tech systems, where you directly contribute to the reliability and functionality of important applications. You can further develop yourself through training and certifications, such as ISTQB or TMap, and you work with modern technologies such as Python 3, Jenkins and Robot Framework on various platforms (Windows, Linux and embedded). In addition, the position offers a full-time, stable working week in a collegial and professional environment, in which you can actively improve and optimize processes and test environments.
Your work
Develop, execute and maintain automatic tests for control and PC applications.
Test new and existing software to ensure quality and functionality.
Perform risk analyzes and translate functional requirements into effective test scenarios.
Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.
Improving test processes and contributing to continuous quality improvement within software development.
Working with modern tools and frameworks, such as Python, Jenkins, Gherkin and Robot Framework.
Working with developers and engineers to structurally increase software quality.
What do you have to offer?
A completed HBO or WO education in (technical) computer science, computer science or embedded systems.
Experience with software development and/or software testing in a high-tech environment.
Programming experience in Python 3.
Knowledge of Windows, Linux and embedded platforms.
Experience with setup and maintenance.
