Your goal

As a software engineer Linux OS, you are responsible for the operating system of our gateway. You will create the foundation for a secure, stable and scalable ecosystem that enables the operation, monitoring and updating of our fleet of devices. In doing so, you will lay the foundation for our applications and actively contribute to the digitalization of the energy networks!

• You will develop and maintain a secure and modular Linux operating system for our gateways.
• You will design and implement frameworks and interfaces for monitoring and updating the Device fleet.
• You integrate solutions for device identification, authentication and authorization to ensure the highest level of security.
• You actively promote the topic of Linux OS and independently bring technical developments from the idea to successful implementation.

• You have in-depth knowledge of modern software development workflows, e.g. E.g. version control with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and code reviews.
• You have in-depth experience in the development of Linux operating systems and software architectures.
• The use of tools such as Yocto You are familiar with the creation and customization of Linux distributions.
• You have in-depth knowledge of current programming languages such as C++ and Python
• You have very good knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• With the Conception of secure systems, e.g. B. through threat modeling, you know your way around very well.
• You like to take on responsibility and are a strong communicator as a team player.
• You also maintain an overview of complex systems and actively help shape them.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German rounds off your profile from.
