Description: We are a Chilean Healthtech part of Y Combinator 2021 and we seek to be the "Uber" of home medical examinations. We use our technology to return health procedures much faster and generate a real solution 💙🩺

Examedi is a digital marketplace that allows patients to schedule medical exams with the same ease with which they order food with apps such as UberEats or Rappi. Where Uber has drivers and Cornershop has shoppers, Examedi has a HealthTeam.

We want to uberize the last mile of health so that taking care of yourself does not mean wasting time or doing complicated procedures. We are starting with home exams, but our plan is to continue growing and create the first health super-app for Latin America.

We are a young company. 3 months after leaving, we are in Platanus Ventures and we become the youngest Latin American start-up to be in Y Combinator. This means that we are in the same community as the founders of giant companies such as Dropbox, AirBnB, Rappi, and the Chilean Fintual, Justo, and Houm. In addition, other class investors support us worldwide, such as Quiet Capital, 8VC and Goodwater Capital.

Civil Computer Engineering (or related career), with 0–2 years of experience.
Knowledge of Django and/or React/TS.
Management of git and collaborative workflows.
You use AI (Cursor, Claude Code, Chat GPT) to move faster, while still understanding the code you you get on.
Curiosity, quickness to learn and not afraid to question how we do things.
You like to build, launch and see your work in production.

At Examedi we bring health to people's homes: examinations and medical care at home in Chile (examedi.cl) and Mexico (examedi.com.mx), and now medical treatments at home with our new line, Bruno (heybruno.cl).

We are part of Y Combinator (S21) and leaders in home health in Chile and Mexico: more than 1,000,000 services provided, an NPS of 90 and a growth of 70% since last year. We are in our best moment and we are looking for someone who wants to grow as fast as us.

There are several open fronts and the pace is high. We are looking for someone who contributes from the first week, who understands the why of what they are building and who questions the requirements when they do not make sense.

What are you going to do

Take features from the idea to production. You take a problem, you understand it, you propose a solution, you implement it and see it used by thousands of patients.
Be part of how the product evolves. You propose changes that improve its adoption and the user experience. We don't expect you to just run tickets.
Work with Django and React/TypeScript. You don't need to master both to start, but you do need to be willing to learn the one you're missing.
Iterate after going to production. You review what came out, measure how well it worked, and propose how to do it better.
