This position involves interacting with U.S.-based clients so your English level must meet this standard. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week remote role, and candidates must be available to work Eastern Standard Time.
 
Flatirons seeks for a Senior Web Developer to join our rapidly growing team.
 



WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Leading web applications for early-stage products in the U.S.
  • Helping mentor other web developers
  • Interacting directly with U.S.-based clients
  • Working with PMs, QA, and design to ensure we deliver high-quality products in a timely manner
  • Contributing to the growing culture of a team that is building beautiful, impactful products
 



ABOUT YOU
  • You live in Latin America
  • You have 5+ years of professional experience working with one or more backend technology (Python+Node.js preferably)
  • You have substantial experience with one or more backend frameworks (Django, Express.js, Nest.js, Flask, etc.)
  • Ideally, you have experience with front-end development with frameworks such as React.js
  • You have strong testing skills and understand the difference between smoketesting, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
  • You like to work with and help improve the skills of other developers and are open to feedback on improving your own work
  • You are detail-oriented and care about the end-user experience
  • You are passionate about well-functioning software products
  • You can manage an application by yourself if needed
  • You have worked in an agile environment and are a team player
