About the Role

At Pavago, we’re hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Senior Full Stack Developer to build, scale, and optimize modern web applications from end to end.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll write production code daily while contributing to architecture, improving system performance, mentoring developers, and delivering scalable software solutions.

You’ll work across the entire technology stack—from responsive front-end interfaces to back-end services, databases, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.

What You’ll Own

Full Stack Development

• Build end-to-end product features across:

  • Front-end applications
  • Back-end APIs and business logic
  • Database architecture

• Deliver clean, scalable, production-ready code.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers throughout the development lifecycle.

• Improve application performance, maintainability, and scalability.

Front-End Development

• Build modern, responsive interfaces using:

  • React
  • Angular
  • Vue.js

• Implement state management using:

  • Redux
  • Context API
  • Vuex

• Ensure:

  • Cross-browser compatibility
  • Mobile responsiveness
  • Accessibility best practices
  • High-performance user experiences

Back-End Development

• Design and build RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

• Develop scalable server-side applications using:

  • Node.js
  • Django
  • Flask
  • Spring Boot

• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API design.

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

Database & Data Layer

• Design and maintain databases using:

  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • MongoDB

• Optimize queries and database performance.

• Implement caching strategies using Redis.

• Maintain data integrity and efficient data models.

Testing & Code Quality

• Write and maintain automated tests using:

  • Jest
  • Cypress

• Maintain 80%+ automated test coverage.

• Participate in peer code reviews.

• Follow engineering best practices and coding standards.

• Continuously reduce technical debt.

DevOps & Cloud Deployment

• Work with Git using GitHub or GitLab workflows.

• Deploy applications through CI/CD pipelines including:

  • GitHub Actions
  • Jenkins

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Support deployment reliability, monitoring, and production stability.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Help improve long-term platform scalability and maintainability.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.

• Strong experience with:

  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Node.js

• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience building production-ready APIs and scalable applications.

• Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Core Skills

• Ability to deliver features independently from concept to deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
