Scope of the role involves:

• Collaborating closely with the product team to gain a deep understanding of project requirements.
• Leveraging your expertise to participate in brainstorming sessions with the engineering team, contributing innovative solutions.
• Engaging with key stakeholders to acquire domain expertise and insights into the problems we aim to solve.
• Taking charge of designing, developing, and optimizing major and minor backend features. Your strong engineering skills and creative problem-solving will be crucial for making the right choices.
• Overseeing the deployment process and ensuring seamless integration of your work into our SaaS product.

Required Skills:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in constructing robust, high-scale, distributed systems within production environments.
• Demonstrate a deep proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on the Django framework.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of databases and data modeling.
• Experience in RESTful API development and integration.
• Prefer straightforward and elegant solutions and designs over complex ones, with an intuitive sense of long-lasting and scalable solutions.
• Possess self-driven problem-solving abilities that harmoniously balance tactical and strategic considerations.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in DevOps, infrastructure setup, and tooling (e.g., AWS, CI/CD pipeline).
• Prior experience working with remote teams.
