Description: System developer R and Python, visualization of data - authority in Stockholm

A government authority in Stockholm is moving processing and analysis of data to a common production environment built on open source, above all R and Python. Two ongoing projects need support in developing solutions for visualization and review of data, and in adapting the proposed tools to the agency's technical environment together with architects and infrastructure. The assignment suits you who are as comfortable in code as in dialogue with statisticians and operations.

Quick facts

Start: October 12, 2026 Scope: 80% Location: Solna, hybrid. The office is the main workplace three days a week, the rest of the time remotely. Travel to the authority's office in Örebro occurs. Form of employment: Sub-consultant via Lynqa, we take contracts and invoicing Assignment duration: Until June 12, 2027, with the option of extension for up to 24 months Application deadline: September 14, 2026

What you will do

    

Propose solutions for visualization and review of data, where R-based options are investigated first

    

Evaluate simpler interactive solutions, dashboard tools and other relevant options

    

Develop a technical solution adapted to the agency's environment together with architects and infrastructure

    

Work closely with the operations' statisticians and project managers for support and implementation

    

Continuously document and hand over results orally and in writing

Requirements

    

At least 2 years of documented programming experience in both R and Python, in the last 5 years

    

Documented experience in designing data visualization solutions, in the last 2 years

    

At least 2 years of documented experience in ETL solutions and SQL, in the last 6 years

    

Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish

    

You accept the Solna office as the main workplace three days a week

Meritable

    

At least 3 years of experience with Power BI

    

At least 3 years of experience working with SAS

    

At least 3 years of experience in development linked for handling large amounts of data

    

At least 3 years of experience in assignments in an organization with more than 500 employees
