Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge, LA; has immediate openings for Full Stack Developers with Python experience. Our clients are some of the world’s leading companies. The successful candidate will be part of challenging and rewarding projects to build and support technical solutions to meet their business needs. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be expected to provide development, support and delivery services for complex client applications. This role requires a broad knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues, work cross team to develop and implement solutions and provide technical support and consultation.

Successful candidates for these positions will work on-site at our IBM Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge, LA. The IBM Client Innovation Centers are an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from one of our centers. Some travel is expected, and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site and may be approximately 40% of the time. You must live in or be willing to relocate to the state of the center you're assigned to within 30 days of starting with IBM.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years experience programming as a Python Developer
• JavaScript (AngularJS, React, Vue.js) or/and JQuery, HTML, CSS
• Efficient in OO programming with Python
• Experience working with Web Application frameworks (Django/Flask/Pyramid)
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience using Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation
