Description: Our Technology Platform Engineering area
The Technology Platform Engineering area is responsible for building and evolving platforms, internal products and shared capabilities that accelerate software development across the organization. We work transversally with the Engineering, Developer Experience, SRE Experience, Cloud Engineering, FinOps, Security and Architecture teams, creating scalable, secure and standardized solutions that enable the delivery of products with quality and speed. We are expanding our operations to the world of Artificial Intelligence, structuring the capabilities, standards and platforms that will allow the safe, efficient and scalable adoption of AI throughout the bank's engineering.Your activities as CSixer
- To be a technical reference in the definition and evolution of the organization's Observability and Runtime Engineering strategies.
- Evolve and maintain corporate observability platforms, ensuring scalability, availability, governance and better experience for engineering teams.
- Develop internal products, automations and integrations that simplify the consumption of metrics, logs, traces and operational events.
- Work hands-on in building solutions using modern observability, automation and platform engineering technologies.
- Define standards and best practices for application instrumentation, monitoring, troubleshooting, telemetry and distributed observability.
- Lead initiatives related to the adoption and evolution of OpenTelemetry, full-stack observability and correlation between metrics, logs and traces.
- Evolve operational automation mechanisms using platforms such as Rundeck, automated workflows, runbooks and self-remediation capabilities.
- Work in partnership with Development, SRE, Infrastructure, Security and Architecture teams to raise standards of reliability and service operation.
- Lead root cause analyses, continuous improvement and initiatives aimed at reducing MTTR and increasing the resilience of environments.
- Mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions and disseminate technical knowledge in observability, automation and platforms.
- Follow market trends related to Platform Engineering, Observability, Runtime Automation, AIOps and AI-Assisted Engineering.
Requirements and Experience
- Consolidated experience acting as a technical reference or specialist in Platform Engineering, SRE, Observability or Solution Architecture.
- Advanced knowledge in monitoring and observability of distributed systems.
- Practical experience with platforms such as Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Splunk and the OpenTelemetry ecosystem.
- Solid knowledge of metrics, logs, traces, events and end-to-end observability practices.
- Experience in building dashboards, monitoring models, alerts and operational indicators.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex environments and analyzing incidents in production.
- Knowledge in operational automation using tools such as Rundeck, scripts, APIs and automated workflows.
- Experience with cloud environments and distributed architectures based on microservices.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience with programming or automation languages such as Python, Go, Java or similar.
- Knowledge of Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE and Infrastructure as Code.
- Advanced English for reading and technical communication.
- Differentiations: Experience with Artificial Intelligence applied to Operations (AIOps), AI-assisted troubleshooting and intelligent automation.
- Knowledge of AI agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol), agentic platforms and integrations with LLMs.
- Experience with AI-based operations automation, intelligent runbooks and self-healing platforms.
- Experience with ServiceNow, observability integration and incident management.
- Experience with large-scale Open Source observability ecosystem.
- Knowledge in FinOps, Capacity Planning and platform cost optimization.
- Participation in technical communities, open source projects or certifications related to observability, cloud or SRE.
