Description: Help build innovative software solutions within a startup environment. As a Medior Backend Developer you work with .NET, Python, Azure DevOps and modern backend technology on digital products for the engineering sector. What will you do? For our client you will develop backend applications that contribute to the digitalization of products, processes and services. You are involved in the entire development process: from design and development to testing and implementation.
Within an agile scrum team you work on secure, scalable and user-friendly software solutions for internal and external users. You will also think about technical choices and commercial objectives.
Your work
- Developing and maintaining backend applications within a startup environment;
- Translating functional wishes and specifications into technical solutions;
- Working within an agile scrum team in an Azure DevOps environment;
- Carrying out tests, updates and patches to improve performance and security;
- Carrying out code reviews according to the four-eye principle;
- Collaborating with software developers, data scientists and domain experts;
- Sharing knowledge and contributing to innovative software products.
What do you have to offer?
- HBO working and thinking level;
- At least 5 years of experience with software development in .NET and Python;
- Experience with Django and/or FastAPI;
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud and SQL databases, including PostgreSQL;
- Experience with WebSockets, RPC, HTTP, REST APIs and microservices;
- Experience with automated testing;
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker;
- Affinity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript is an advantage;
- Ability to think within technical and commercial frameworks;
- A proactive attitude and enjoyment of working together within multidisciplinary teams.
