At K-LAGAN, we are looking for a Senior Backend Tech Lead to support one of our major account clients in the design and development of distributed systems with large volumes of data. YOUR MISSION You will work on strategic projects requiring strong expertise in Java, Python and Apache Kafka, with performance, scalability and resilience challenges. Your role will combine technical architecture, backend development and support for development teams. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES *   Design and evolve distributed backend architectures. *    Actively participate in the development of services in Java and Python. *    Design and optimize event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka. *    Optimize processing, flows and management of large volumes of data. * Anticipate issues of scale, performance and competition. *   Guarantee application resilience: error management, incident recovery and data loss prevention. *    Define development, quality and security standards. *    Provide technical support to developers and encourage the sharing of best practices. *    Collaborate with Data, DevOps and Product teams. TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT Essential skills: *    Java / Spring Boot: excellent command of backend development and microservices architectures. *   Python: development of services and data processing. *    Apache Kafka: significant experience with event architectures, producers, consumers and flow management. *    Distributed architecture: scalability, performance, resilience and concurrency management. *    API & microservices: design of robust and scalable solutions. Additional skills appreciated: *    GitHub, Jenkins *    Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift *    Azure or Scaleway *    Node.js *    Playwright YOUR PROFILE *    8 to 10 years minimum experience in backend development and software architecture. *    Proven expertise in Java / Spring Boot, Python and Kafka. *   Significant experience in distributed systems design. *    Ability to intervene on both architectural choices and development. *    Experience in technical support of development teams. *    Sensitivity to quality, safety and performance issues. *    Autonomy, analytical mind and good communication skills. Above all, we are looking for an operational Tech Lead, capable of designing solid architectures while remaining involved in development and daily technical issues.i INFORMATION TO REMEMBER Location: Niort (79) Hybrid organization: ideally 2 to 3 days on site per week at the start, with the possibility of spacing out travel to one presence every two weeks in the long term Contract: Permanent contract or Freelance Permanent remuneration: 52 to 55 K€ gross/year depending on TJM profile Freelance: 550 to 580 €/day maximum Start-up: as soon as possible / end of 2026, for full operation at the beginning of 2027 Long-term mission: 12 months renewable WHY JOIN K-LAGAN?
