We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join our Collections team
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the B2C collection strategy based on the analysis of our customer data and collection operations.
To do this, it will be necessary to measure the impact of existing actions, construct analysis reports and propose strategic directions to improve recovery rates and manage credit risk.
You will support the Collections and Finance teams in their decision-making and improvement of Octopus Energy France's collection processes. You will report to the Collections and Credit Risk Manager, and will work closely with the collections, ops and finance teams.
Your missions:
Be a driving force in the implementation of the strategy and collection priorities for the company
Develop, maintain and share complex reporting and data analysis related to debt, recovery and more broadly Finance for Octopus Energy France
Be proposal force on the implementation of recovery processes and prevention measures to guarantee an excellent customer experience (e.g.: adaptation of monthly payments, debt installments)
Optimize credit decisions based on data (A/B workflow tests, threshold decision)
Modeling the debt in collaboration with the various Finance teams in France and the Group for provisioning
Develop close collaboration between your team and the Data France teams, and intervene in reporting bodies with COMEX France and the Group.
This position also includes the direct management of 2 colleagues, 1 experienced data analyst and 1 data scientist: daily support, development of technical skills, development at Octopus, etc.
Profile sought:
The essentials :
You have solid background in data analysis and management, such as Analytics Engineer or Data analyst for example; ideally in the finance or tech sectors,
You have excellent skills in the modern data stack: Python, SQL, DBT, Gitin particular; you know how to use these tools to develop complex analyzes and propose strategic recommendations,
You have at least first experience in direct management,
You are rigorous and proactive in improving your reporting and analysis
You take ownership of your subjects and move them forward,
You know how to manage projects involving multiple internal teams,
You are comfortable with data visualization tools in general,
You are able to summarize analyzes clearly, in a few slides or lines for example.
