Description:

The researcher will join the Digital Research team to actively participate in R&D&I projects in the field of applied cybersecurity, with special focus on the securitization of applications and development environments following the DevSecOps methodology.

His main tasks include:

• Participation in applied research projects in cybersecurity, analyzing vulnerabilities, threats and attack vectors in real environments.
• Implementation and validation of DevSecOps practices
• Security of applications and developments that use PostgreSQL databases
• Design, execution and interpretation of unit and system tests aimed at security validation in engineering projects. software.
• Application of Secure Software Development methodologies in engineering projects
• Collaboration in the writing of scientific-technical deliverables
• Infrastructure monitoring and incident detection using SIEM, UEBA, SOAR tools and incident response platforms.
• Support in internal training and transfer of security knowledge to the rest of the team.

• Languages: Python, Bash/Shell scripting, Java or C/C++
• Secure databases: PostgreSQL (hardening, roles, encryption)
• CI/CD and DevSecOps: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Code analysis: SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Snyk, Bandit
• Version control: Git/GitHub/GitLab
• Operating systems: Linux (administration and bastion)
• Frameworks Security: OWASP Top 10, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001 (concepts)
