We are looking for a profile with:

Advanced SQL and Python (or Scala/Java).
Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling and version control (Git).
Orchestration tools (Airflow or equivalent) and transformation (dbt is a very common plus).
CI/CD concepts and, desirable, infrastructure such as code (Terraform).
Technical English (reading documentation and communicating with regional teams).

Specialties (according to scope of role):

In cloud: environment design, loading/transformation (Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, stages), performance and cost optimization, and governance/security (dynamic masking, row access policies).
At Snowflake: hands-on production experience (not just courses), solid SQL with semi-structured data (VARIANT/JSON), dbt + Snowflake with orchestration (Airflow or other), and basic understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP.

At Martinexsa we are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines and models that feed analytics, reporting and data science cases. The role focuses on taking data from ingestion to transformation and modeling, ensuring quality, documentation and monitoring. We also work with analysts, data scientists and business areas to convert needs into usable datasets, applying robust security, governance and access control practices. Includes focus on cloud and/or Snowflake environments, depending on specialty. Responsibilities

Build ingestion and transformation pipelines (batch and, where appropriate, streaming).

Model data (dimensional, data vault or similar) and maintain quality and documentation.

Orchestrate processes and monitor failures, costs and performance.

Work with analysts, data scientists and business areas to translate needs into datasets.

Apply good security, governance and access control practices to data. data.

Specialties (Cloud): design the environment (warehouses, roles, databases, schemas and access control); load and transform data (Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, stages, formats such as Parquet and JSON); optimize performance and cost (warehouse size, clustering, cache, consumption monitoring); and ensure governance and security (dynamic masking, row access policies, secure sharing).

Specialties (Snowflake): hands-on experience with Snowflake in production; Very solid SQL, including semi-structured (VARIANT/JSON); dbt + Snowflake and orchestration (Airflow or other); basic knowledge of the cloud where the instance runs (AWS, Azure or GCP); plus: Snowpark, SnowPro Core certification (or higher), and integration with BI (Power BI, Tableau).
