4+ years of experience in software engineering, building and maintaining full stack applications.
Strong experience in React, including modern UX, responsive designs and reusable component design.
Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS ECS: containerization, deployments, networking, IAM, secrets and logging. Ability to migrate an existing service from App Runner to ECS.
Strong experience in PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
Experience integrating backend services (.net) with external systems or connected devices, including resolving incidents across system boundaries.
Backend experience with C# and ASP.NET Core, including refactoring and extending services and APIs REST.
Experience writing unit and integration tests, and working with infrastructure as code.
Excellent written and oral communication in English (Intermediate-advanced or advanced).

Upon integration, the candidate will be part of a project whose focus is to restructure the IoT Core module to adapt it to the new firmware and hardware that is being developed.

Functions of the position

You will consolidate existing React applications into a responsive interface built with reusable components.
You will containerize and deploy services with Docker and AWS ECS, including migrating an App Runner service, and manage networking, IAM, secrets, and logging.
You will design schemas in PostgreSQL, write migrations and optimize queries.
You will integrate backend services with external systems and connected devices, resolving incidents that cross the boundaries between application, infrastructure and device.
You will also write unit and integration tests and manage infrastructure as code.
