Description: The Digital Government Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance is the entity in charge of carrying out the Digital Transformation Strategy of the State of Chile and putting it at the service of the people.

In terms of stack:
- Backend with Node.js, Express or similar, Python (Django, Flask or FastAPI) and/or Java (Spring Boot); frontend with React, Angular, Vue.js or equivalent frameworks.
- Design, implementation and consumption of APIs REST and GraphQL in microservices architectures, documented with OpenAPI/Swagger or equivalents.
- Microservices architectures: integration by messaging and events, design patterns, SOLID principles and domain-oriented development (DDD).
- Relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Amazon RDS, Redis or equivalent, in design, development and optimization.
- Cloud: development and integration of applications deployed on cloud platforms, preferably AWS, with managed services and good practices of scalability, resilience and observability.
- Containers and DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD or equivalent.
- AI-assisted development: programming assistants and agentic development tools to program, review code, document and automate, while maintaining human oversight and validation of the generated code.
- Secure development and vulnerability management: OWASP Top 10, OWASP ASVS, Secure by Design, ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Testing and quality assurance: JUnit, JUnit 5, Jest, PyTest, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Insomnia or equivalents.
- Version control with Git on GitHub, GitLab or equivalents, with collaborative flows (GitFlow, Trunk Based Development or similar).
- Technical documentation: architecture diagrams, functional specifications and API documentation with Swagger/OpenAPI, Markdown or equivalent platforms.
- Personal data protection: technical controls that contribute to compliance with Law No. 21,719, with privacy by design and minimization of data.
Formal requirements for public office:
- Professional degree in computer engineering, information technology, telecommunications, electronics or similar, of at least 10 semesters in duration.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development.
The Digital Government Secretariat operates the digital infrastructure on which the State of Chile operates, such as:
- ClaveÚnica — the digital identity of more than 16.3 million people.
- Advanced Electronic Signature — used by more than 80% of the public sector, municipalities included.
- PISEE — the platform through which the institutions of the Chile interoperate with each other. State.
More than 700 public institutions depend on these services to operate every day.
We are looking for two full-stack developers to work on ClaveÚnica: backend, frontend and APIs of the identity system with which each citizen is authenticated. It is a position where security control, authentication, verification and consent are key points.
You join the Technology and Product area.
Functions of the position
- Design, develop and evolve components backend, frontend and ClaveÚnica services, safeguarding security, availability, scalability and operational continuity; and mobile applications when appropriate.
- Participate in the analysis, design, integration, testing and corrective, adaptive and evolutionary maintenance of solutions, according to the standards of the Secretariat.
- Develop and integrate services, APIs and reusable components, with interoperability, scalability, maintainability and performance.
- Implement security controls during the development life cycle (Secure by Design), in accordance with OWASP Top 10 and OWASP ASVS.
- Implement authentication, authorization and access control mechanisms, integrated with the State's digital identity platforms.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration and automated tests within CI/CD processes.
- Maintain technical and functional documentation: APIs, diagrams, manuals and operating procedures.
