Description:

We are looking for a Senior AWS Specialist with verifiable experience in the technical execution of solutions on AWS and development in Python.

The professional must participate directly in the construction, configuration, automation, deployment, monitoring and support of cloud solutions in productive environments.

A practical, autonomous and executor profile is required. We are not looking for a person dedicated exclusively to architecture design, team coordination or supplier supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain solutions on AWS.
• Develop scripts, automations, APIs and microservices with Python.
• Configure and manage AWS services in productive environments.
• Implement serverless solutions and event-oriented architectures.
• Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor applications, infrastructure and cloud services.
• Analyze and resolve technical incidents, identifying their root cause.
• Participate in migration and modernization initiatives towards AWS.
• Implement good security, availability and scalability practices.
• Identify cost and performance optimization opportunities.
• Prepare technical documentation and transfer knowledge to the team.

• Professional training in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software or related careers.
• Minimum 5 years of technology experience.
• At least 3 years of recent practical experience implementing solutions on AWS.
• Proven experience developing and automating solutions with Python.
• Direct participation in AWS implementations in productive environments.
• Experience with several of the following services:
  • AWS Lambda.
  • Amazon EC2.
  • Amazon S3.
  • AWS IAM.
  • Amazon CloudWatch.
  • Amazon EventBridge.
  • Amazon RDS or DynamoDB.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, serverless architectures or event-oriented solutions.
• Management of CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Docker and Git.
• Experience in monitoring, log analysis and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of security and access management in AWS.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.

Desirable:

• Terraform, CloudFormation or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Kubernetes, Amazon EKS or Amazon ECS.
• FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Integration and consumption of REST APIs.
• Migration and modernization of applications to AWS.
• Cloud cost optimization or FinOps practices.
• Data processing, ETL, MLOps or artificial intelligence.
• Complementary experience in Azure or GCP.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, logistics or supply chains.

Desirable:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.

Certifications will be valued, but are not a substitute for hands-on experience running solutions on AWS and developing with Python.
