Description: The main objective of the Major Projects Office of the Ministry of Economy is to promote investment as an engine of development, job creation, and community well-being.

Through the single window for digital permit processing called SUPER, the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism seeks to digitalize and centralize more than 400 permit procedures necessary for the different types of investment projects to materialize.Typically, these projects belong to the Energy, Infrastructure, Industrial, Real Estate and Mining sectors, among others.

We are looking for a professional of excellence with a vocation for public service.A proactive and creative person who is capable of proposing new solutions.This person is expected to contribute to improving the comprehensive functioning of the platform, understanding and addressing the needs of the different target users and, in addition, contribute to creating a good internal work dynamic.The selected person is expected to have project management skills and effective communication with counterparts.

Main technical requirements of applicants:

• Possess a professional degree in Civil Engineering in Computer Science or IT, or related careers, granted by a Higher Education establishment (of the State or recognized by it).
• Use of Python (Django).
• Use of VUE.js
• Use of AWS Cloud services (RDS,EC2, S3, IAM)
• Experience in the area of Software development products.
• Knowledge in managing REST APIs.
• Experience in consulting databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

We are the Sector Authorizations and Investment Office of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism of Chile.

Through the single window for digital permit processing called SUPER, the State seeks to digitize and centralize more than 400 permit procedures necessary for the different types of investment projects to materialize.Typically, these projects belong to the Energy, Infrastructure, Industrial, Real Estate and Mining sectors, among others.

The selected person will work in the Sector Authorizations and Investment Office, in a unit made up of computer engineers, part of an interdisciplinary team that seeks to make the processing of permits agile and predictable.The selected engineer will be in charge of evolutionary development, maintenance and infrastructure of the SUPER platform, as well as integrations between other platforms and SUPER.

Specific functions

• Carry out Back-End, Front-End and infrastructure development tasks, focused on a resilient system, performing continuous improvement, corrections, refactorings and modifications in the design of the databases.

• Support the improvement of processes and integrationof digital procedures of different public services with the SUPER platform.

• Manage and develop integration maintenance tasks, API maintenance and other operations of the SUPER platform.

Salary
Between $2,100,000 and $2,900,000 gross, depending on experience.
