• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in a work environment in roles such as Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or similar.
• Experience with Python.
• Understanding of data structures with analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets, advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization.
• Understanding of the full lifecycle of machine learning models and data products.
• Analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English, particularly in reading, as you must be able to consistently read papers, articles, or documentation.

The Analytics team works on various projects that combine massive volumes of data with AI, such as detecting and predicting failures before they occur, optimizing pricing, personalizing the customer experience, optimizing fuel usage, and detecting faces and objects using computer vision.

As a Data Scientist, you’ll work alongside Machine Learning Engineers, Translators, Data Engineers, and other roles to build data-driven products that take business practices to the next level.

The Analytics team does not operate as a separate research team but is deeply integrated with our clients and their business units. This enables a rapid feedback loop for iterating, correcting, and refining our work to ultimately achieve business impact.

In any project you work on, we expect you to demonstrate a strong collaborative spirit, a passion for innovation and coding, and a mindset that prioritizes automation over manual processes.

Your work will vary from project to project but will follow a similar structure:

• Identify analytics problems that have the greatest impact on the organization.
• Familiarize yourself with the problem alongside experts; gather information, opinions, and facts.
• Research industry best practices.
• Define working hypotheses and a technical approach to solve the problem, including the dataset to be used, variables, time period, etc.
