Description: Your role with us
• You take overall technical responsibility for our B2B SaaS platform: TypeScript and React, Python with Django and Celery, Rust, operated on Linux-based dedicated hardware
• The development team, which currently consists of 16 people, reports to you. Developing it, strengthening it and supporting it as it grows is the biggest part of your job.
• Together with product and management, you shape the product strategy and advance architecture, scaling and security, including ISO 27001 and NIS2.
• We are currently working with Shape Up and six-week cycles. You ensure that we deliver in a focused manner and that this speed is also visible outside of development and if a different way of working works better, you bring it in.
• As a direct reporting line to the CEO, you sit at the table when making decisions instead of being assigned them.

This is what you bring with you
• You like the pace that makes a startup possible: short paths, quick decisions, tackling things yourself instead of escalating. Ideally, you were part of a growth story that worked.
• A team of at least 15 people was your responsibility for at least two years, including performance discussions and team development; several teams in parallel are a plus.
• You communicate in such a way that change is received, not as an announcement, but in such a way that people want to follow along
• AI is part of your everyday work, not a part of the presentation: Claude, Copilot, Cursor or similar have been in use for a long time, and you also bring the topic into the team instead of using it alone.
• You have made technical decisions in a scaling environment and know what the path from startup to Scale-up of architecture and processes is really required.
• You understand how your contribution is received by the customer and argue about impact and value instead of feature numbers.
• And you bring energy. The role needs someone who has a passion for the task, not just experience with it.
