We are ET Agency, presenting AhorraMás: the first Price Intelligence and Retail Media startup in Venezuela.We are not just a list app;We are the "Waze of Prices" that uses crowdsourcing + AI to mitigate economic volatility.We are looking for our #1 Founding Engineer (Backend Architect) to co-found from the beginning.The core project is to build the backend and data integrity engine (Sheriff AI) that detects fraud in real time through AI (vision/OCR) and metadata analysis, with OCR integration for ticket reading and data security to avoid rigging in the reward system.The mission is to design, deploy and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and lead the technical strategy from Day 0.

We are looking for a Backend Architect with experience in complex software engineering and strategic vision to co-found a startup.You must have:

• Demonstrable experience in Python (Django/FastAPI) or Node.js, with complex logic and scalability.
• Experience integrating OCR and image processing APIs;familiarity with computer vision solutions.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and robust schema design.
• Experience in cloud architectures (AWS or GCP) and data security practices.
• Ability to design real-time data integrity and anti-fraud solutions.
• Leadership skills, product vision, and ability to work remotely inLATAM.
• Co-founder spirit, results orientation and focus on data for strategic decisions.

• Architecture and deploy a scalable cloud backend (AWS/GCP) to support viral traffic spikes.
• Develop, maintain and optimize the data engine for reward integrity.
• Integrate OCR and vision APIs (Google Vision / AWS Textract) for automatic reading of purchase tickets.
• Design and implement data security, perceptual hashing and metadata validationto prevent fraud.
• Collaborate with the AI area to improve anomaly detection and data quality through metadata and image analysis.
• Define and lead the technological stack (Python with Django/FastAPI or Node.js), PostgreSQL databases and cloud services.
• Manage the technical road map, standardize processes and mentor the initial team.

Base salary in USD ($2,000 - $2,500) + equity (3% - 5%) with 4-year vesting.Opportunity to lead a technical team in a startup funded from Day 0. Remote work from LATAM, with the possibility of travel according to project needs.

Knowledge in image processing, experience in Retail Media, and previous experience as a founder or in technical leadership roles.Familiarity with agile methodologies and management of remote teams.
