In our Business Intelligence & Process Automation area, learn about digital structures and challenges in a rapidly growing and innovative company!

• Agentic AI & Automation: You put AI into real use at smartvillage: not as a playground, but in productive processes. You support the construction of LLM-based agents and automations, conceptualize prompt and context design, connect APIs and ensure clean, reliable outputs including sensible human-in-the-loop logic.
  
  
• Automate processes:A clear focus at the beginning is in the finance area. You tackle specific processes: invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting workflows and KPI dashboards become smarter with AI and automation. You will also learn how modern controlling and accounting works in a growing company.
  
  
• Automation throughout the company: Finance is the start, not the end. You independently examine processes from different areas, identify automation potential and implement it. You use tools like n8n, Make or Python scripts and connect automations to our CRM (HubSpot) and other internal systems.
  
  
• Integration & system landscape: You connect your automations to our existing infrastructure: HubSpot, PostgreSQL and internal applications. You ensure clean data flows between areas and think in systems, not in silos.
  
  
• Quality & further development:You help make our AI applications testable and reliable: via evals, monitoring and traceable escalation mechanisms. You contribute your own ideas and actively shape how AI continues to grow at smartvillage.

• Ongoing studies with a tech-related focus: You are studying computer science, business informatics, data science, business administration with a technology focus, engineering or a comparable course of study for a bachelor's or master's degree. Finance knowledge from your studies or internships is a clear plus.
  
  
• First LLM practice & coding basis:You have already worked with LLM APIs and know concepts such as function calling, structured outputs or RAG. Clean Python code, basic SQL knowledge and dealing with APIs and Git are a given for you.
  
  
• Tool affinity & automation know-how: You know how to connect systems together in a meaningful way. Experience with workflow tools like n8n or Make, with HubSpot or other CRM tools as well as Excel knowledge with macros or Power Query are a plus, not a must.
  
  
• Process understanding & pragmatism: You want to understand how processes really work before you automate them. You question processes critically, think in context and know when a simple workflow is enough and when more is needed. You work independently and proactively drive things forward.
  
  
• Communication skills & team spirit:You can explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues and enjoy working across teams. You communicate confidently in German (at least C1) and English.
