Will you help build? 

Distributed across various SCRUM teams, our R&D team is responsible for building and developing the IXON Cloud platform. Every aspect of our solution, from the robust backend to the user-friendly frontend, advanced hardware and our global DevOps infrastructure, is developed with passion and expertise within our walls. 

Our R&D team, which now consists of more than 30 technical specialists, is always open to young talents who want to grow and develop further. During each internship period we offer multiple places for students in the following areas:

• Backend development; 

• Frontend development; 

• Embedded Software Development; 

• DevOps; 

• Security; 

• Software testing. 

You will come into contact with our tech stack, consisting of:

• Python; 

• C++;

• Rest; 

• Angular; 

• Typescript; 

• Playwright; 

• Zabbix; 

• Linux; 

• MariaDB;

• Kubernetes; 

• SALT. 
  

Of course, we are always open to input from students in the field of new tooling, frameworks and techniques. 

to specific wishes. A frequently expressed need is to personalize email messages sent from the platform to end users. Currently, customization options are limited to colors and logos only. The goal of this assignment is to offer customers complete control over the design and content of their emails. To achieve this, an intuitive email studio is being developed that allows the user to easily create and manage messages at their own discretion. style="color:#646363">Implement support for the Beckhoff ADS protocol in C++ to increase the compatibility of the IXON data pipeline. You realize the complete connection on the gateway and make data logging easily configurable in the fleet manager.

• Accelerating End-to-End (E2E) testing (Software testing)

Optimize the End-to-End testing environment of the IXON Cloud to improve the feedback cycle and release speed for developers to increase. You identify bottlenecks and implement acceleration solutions within the GitLab CI/CD pipeline.

You are an HBO student in the field of (Embedded) Software Development, Security or related and are looking for a (graduation) internship with impact. You have a passion for developing cool software solutions and like the freedom to try out new things. You do not go for shortcuts, but you work in a structured manner on qualitative solutions. In addition, you are a real team player, who can therefore effortlessly participate in one of our SCRUM teams.
