As a Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d), you play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our applications and systems. You will be responsible for identifying security risks, conducting security assessments, and developing security solutions that support our operations and development teams in implementing more resilient and robust applications. This position offers you the opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cyber and information security best practices.

Task area

• Work with technical teams to integrate security controls and measures into the software development lifecycle and secure operations
• Conduct security assessments, such as penetration testing, threat modeling and concept reviews
• Development and operation of technical security tools to ensure central security controls such as vulnerability management or regulatory compliance for self-managed workstations
• Planning and conducting targeted training on application and infrastructure security

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in the field of information security and intrinsic motivation to keep your knowledge constantly up to date
• Understanding of modern, agile product development and practical experience with DevSecOps concepts
• Experience with all types of technical security tests (white box and black box), ideally in regulated and certified environments such as KRITIS, PCI-DSS
• Confidence in using at least one programming language, ideally Python and/or Java, as well as experience with modern virtual machines and container environments
• Team player through and through who always leads by example. You feel comfortable managing projects and stakeholders efficiently, even in stressful situations
• Strong problem-solving skills, good English skills, quality awareness, personal responsibility and the ability to work in an international team
