Responsibilities

* As an onboarder, you start in commissioning & service, experience the systems live on site and build up a deep understanding before you really dive into the software world

* You develop and maintain the control software for modern energy systems and form it into a stable, standardized software package

* You take over the software processes step by step: Load, configure, commission and update controls - so that everything runs smoothly

* You analyze errors remotely via VPN and, in tricky cases, go directly to the system - this is how you keep the energy flows moving

* You work together with the lead developer on sustainable software and system architecture and further develop the portal and data infrastructure (e.g. Grafana, PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB)

* You work on the interface of electrical engineering and software - with Node-RED/JavaScript, Python and Siemens SIMATIC S7 on Linux industrial computers

Skill set

* You have completed technical training (HTL, FH, TU) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology or have equivalent experience

* You have a sound electrical engineering background, feel comfortable on Linux systems and have practical experience in PLC programming

* You have an understanding of energy technology fundamentals (power, energy, voltage, current) and strong systems thinking

* Experience with Node-RED / JavaScript, Python and Grafana is an advantage

* You have appropriate German and very good English

* You have a high willingness to learn, enjoy solving technical problems and are a team player

The possible salary
