Job description .
As a Python Software Engineer, you work on developing smart connections between various energy systems such as home batteries, charging stations, heat pumps and solar panels. You contribute to a cloud-based Energy Management System that helps households optimize their energy consumption using dynamic energy prices, weather forecasts and advanced algorithms. You develop and maintain API integrations, build scalable software components and ensure reliable monitoring and error handling. You actively think about the software architecture and influence the technical direction of the platform, with which you directly contribute to the energy transition.
Who you are (or want to become):
- Analytical minded and focused on writing maintainable, reliable code. - Good command of the Dutch and English language. - Living in the Netherlands. - Demonstrable experience with Python and software development. - Knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations. - Completed higher vocational or university education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar. - Familiarity with software architecture, testing and error handling.
