Good software does not arise by chance. It grows from sharp choices, strong structures and people who dare to take responsibility. As a Senior Python Developer (Squad Lead) you are at the center of that process. You combine hands-on Python development with a leading role within the team.

Your role

You will be at the helm of a small, close-knit development squad and help determine where we go technically, from architectural choices to the way we put them into practice. Code quality, scalability and reliability are not buzzwords for you, but the tone you set every day: you review code, monitor our technical standards and help fellow developers grow in their profession.

You also work closely with other squads and stakeholders to bring new features and integrations to life. And because at Strado Group we look beyond just code, you also think about impact, market forces and innovation within the energy sector, because your technical choices really make a difference for entrepreneurs who want to manage their energy smarter.

• You have a master's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
• You have been mastering the tricks of the trade as a software developer for several years now.
• Managing or coaching a technical team is no stranger to you, in fact, you get energy from seeing others grow.
• Python and SQL are your trusted tools, and if you already have experience with IoT applications, that is a bonus.
• You find your way effortlessly in GitHub Copilot and AI prompting within software engineering, enjoy working agile, and know how to bring structure without breaking the flow.

In short: you are both a doer and a thinker, strategically strong, but at least as happy to be hands-on.
