In the position of Senior Automation Engineer, you will be part of a knowledgeable, innovative and committed professional environment. Ulstein Power & Control has its head office in Ulsteinvik and a branch office at Moa in Ålesund.
TasksIntegration of power and automation solutions
Configuration and programming of the control system.
Preparation of order-specific documentation, here under CAD and technical specification
Testing and verification of software and hardware
Class test (FAT/HAT/SAT)
Product specification and PLM
Sales support and project follow-up
Facilitate training of customers in our systems
Participate in development of sustainable solutions QualificationsRelevant technical education at bachelor's or master's level
Good understanding of marine systems and interfaces linked to these
Experience in developing and configuring Integrated Automation System (IAS), Power Management System (PMS) and Energy Management System (EMS)
Experience with regulations from class companies, and class approval
Experience with industrial communication protocols
Experience with Linux and Python
Experience with X-Connect is a advantage.
Good language skills in Norwegian and English Personal qualities Good communication and collaboration skills
