Description:

We are looking for reinforcements for the conception, automation and further development of modern data platforms. In this position you will work with Azure and Databricks, develop scalable platform solutions and support our data engineers and project teams with consistent standards and best practices.

Tasks

• You design and implement modern data platforms with Databricks and a hyperscaler, especially Azure or AWS.
• You implement scalable platform architectures, development environments and deployment processes.
• You establish infrastructure as code, CI/CD and reusable platform standards.
• You ensure security, governance, monitoring, performance and stability.
• You support data engineers, data analytics teams and departments with standardized platform services and best practices.
• You will be involved in architecture, technology and platform decisions as well as reusable solutions for data ingestion and data preparation.

Qualification

• You have completed a degree in MINT or business informatics or have a comparable qualification.
• You have three to five years of professional experience in data platform engineering, data engineering or cloud engineering.
• You have designed and implemented modern data platforms, ideally with Databricks and Azure, and know lakehouse architectures and scalable cloud infrastructures.
• You have knowledge of Databricks, relevant Azure Services, Python, SQL, Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
• You have experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, as well as with CI/CD pipelines, security and governance.
• You work independently, are quality-conscious and enjoy working in a team and can convey technical content in an understandable way.
