About the role of Senior Data Engineer at Knowit

As a Senior Data Engineer with us in Gothenburg, you work with designing and developing advanced data solutions in the cloud. You will work with modern principles in data modeling, semantic layers and data governance to create robust and future-proof data platforms. You take responsibility for architecture selection, implementation and optimization of pipelines, and act as a technical role model in the team. Our assignments span both the public and private sectors, where you are involved in creating solutions where data becomes a strategic asset and a central part of the business.

Your main tasks include:

    

Design and implement scalable cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

    

Build and optimize data pipelines with Python and DBT

    

Ensure high data quality, performance and robustness in complex systems

    

Drive technical decisions and contribute to best practices in data engineering

    

Support teams and customers in architecture and design issues

as a Data Engineer, who is ready to take on greater responsibility in teams and deliverables. You have solid experience with cloud-based solutions, Python and DBT, and are used to working closely with both technology and business.

You are confident in leading technical discussions, making decisions and supporting others. At the same time, you are prestigeless and thrive in a culture where collaboration and learning are the focus. Experience with AI and data-driven organizations is a plus.
