Senior Data Analyst Backend E-commerce (f/m/d) 

Our Backend E-commerce team is looking for a Data Analyst (f/m/d)  based in Lille.

TEAM PRESENTATION

Join a dynamic team of 15 enthusiasts (developers, product owners, data engineers) at the heart of Decathlon's digital strategy. Our goal: to ensure the robustness and efficiency of the data flows that power our global e-commerce platform. Your impact will be direct on the experience of millions of sportsmen and women, with the challenge of combining technical performance and responsible innovation.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the bridge between raw backend data and strategic decisions. Your missions will revolve around 4 pillars:

Data Analysis and Interpretation

• Design and implement analyzes to extract useful information (sales, trends, behaviors).
• Use statistical methods (descriptive analysis, PCA, classifications) to resolve complex business problems.
• Translate the needs of business teams (Business, Marketing, Product) into concrete analytical problems.
• Be able to question irrelevant business requests, to prioritize.
• Help develop customer segmentation tools and scoring models.

Preparation and Modeling

• Participate in cleaning, exploring and preparing datasets and improving their quality.
• Create and maintain data processing pipelines.
• Contribute to the development, testing and evaluation of AI models.

Visualization and Communication

• Present the results in a clear and impactful manner to the various stakeholders.
• Choose the right rendering level to answer a question with the appropriate support.
• Create dashboards and AI agents for monitoring key indicators (KPIs).
• Automate the sending of analyzes and allow self-service access to data through our semantic layer.

Collaboration and Innovation

• Evolve in an Agile environment with modern tools (Git).
• Share good technical practices within the team.
• Ensure technological monitoring of new trends in data analysis.
• Minimize technical debt by anticipating future needs.
• Keep clear documentation of your work to facilitate its transmission to a peer.
