You understand AI systems down to the last detail. And you can explain it to a managing director so that he makes the right decision.

We want to be the AI experts in medium-sized companies. Not those who talk loudest about AI, but those who know why a RAG system delivers bad answers, which model can be operated locally and which use case will be effective in three months. We are looking for people who have both: real technical depth and experience in guiding customers through projects.

As a Senior AI Solutions Engineer at Neurawork, you will be responsible for customer projects from the initial analysis to go-live. You record processes and data, evaluate use cases for feasibility and impact, design the architecture and implement the solution yourself, based on our standardized products and up to full integration into the customer's system landscape. The customer trusts you because you technically know what you are talking about.

We work according to our own operational AI process model. We are not an automation agency or custom software developers: standardized products are our leverage and we adapt them until they are fully integrated. We create real, measurable added value and are responsible for it.

Tasks

What you do with us

Responsible for projects: Lead customer projects in medium-sized companies, from kick-off to handover into operations
Evaluate: Understand the customer's processes and data, check use cases for feasibility, costs and limits and for effect prioritize
Build yourself: Design architecture, configure and expand our products, optimize retrieval and prompting, make quality measurable
Integrate: Implement interfaces, data connection, security and operations together with the customer's IT
Advise with substance: Providing sound support to the specialist department, IT and management, clearly managing expectations, developing roadmaps that are technically carry
Take people with you: Moderate workshops and empower participants so that the solution is implemented in everyday life
Pass on: Feed findings back into our frameworks and products; Live sessions in our AI training with TÜV Süd certificate and in AI business coaching

Not suitable for you if...

You have previously managed or supported AI projects but have not technically implemented them yourself,
Your AI systems were created exclusively with no-code tools are,
You prefer to stay in the code and leave customer appointments, workshops or discussions with management to others

Qualifications

What you bring with you

Technical foundation:

Completed studies in the MINT area (e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, data science). Alternatively, several years of professional software development. Certificate courses and further training do not replace this.
At least one AI system that you have designed and implemented yourself and can show, e.g. B. a RAG pipeline, a productive agent or a technically responsible automation
You program securely (e.g. Python) and work with APIs, databases and deployment. Pure no-code or low-code experience is not enough for this role.
You can justify technical decisions, e.g. B. why you chose a model, a chunking strategy or a cloud instead of local operation and what their limits are

Consulting experience:

4+ years of professional experience, of which at least 2 years with direct customer contact in technical projects, e.g. B. as a technical consultant, solutions engineer, solution architect, data/AI consultant, technical project manager or freelancer with your own customers. Internal departments as customers also count.
You recorded requirements, moderated workshops and brought about decisions among stakeholders, including at management level.
You can tell a customer that their desired use case doesn't make sense and show them a better alternative

Also important:

German at a native level (C2), spoken and written
Good English, resident in Germany and willingness to meet with customers on site
