We are Upside — a team crazy about delivering high-quality and ambitious software projects for companies such as the University of Toronto, Framebridge, Artemest, and Mineski Global. Next to our Client-facing work, we also develop one of the biggest open-source e-commerce frameworks based on Ruby and Rails - Spree Commerce (currently at over 12 000 stars on Github). We run Upside focusing on knowledge, autonomy, and great collaboration - with our Clients and internally. Right now, we're looking for Mid & Senior Python Engineers to join our growing team and develop projects for key Clients. Salary: Regular Engineer: 10 000 - 13 600 PLN net + VAT Including additional days off Location: Office in Kraków, coworking spaces across Poland, and fully remote. Our Teammates are currently in Kraków, Warszawa, Wrocław, Berlin, or traveling the world. → At least 3 years of commercial experience in building web-based applications → Engineering mindset and/or a degree in Computer Science → Experience with SQL databases → Experience with Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure → Solid OOP skills → Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, and profiling → Nice to have: Experience with and/or interest in LLMs → Nice to have: Experience with Django → Experience directly working with different stakeholders (e.g. Product Owners or Business Founders) in a consulting setting → Deep, end-to-end understanding of the software development cycle → Experience in working in Agile/Lean methodologies
Regular+ Engineer: 14 800 - 19 300 PLN net + VAT
Senior Engineer: 20 800 - 25 900 PLN net + VAT
→ Solid knowledge of Python
→ Great command of written and spoken English
