Who we are

Rockstardevelopers, founded in Mannheim in 2015, additional offices in Stuttgart and Munich. We are a software and IT service provider with experience from hundreds of projects for enterprise and medium-sized customers.

Your tasks

You work in an agile Scrum team at a large corporation. The team develops and maintains a web application based on Python and Django with PostgreSQL, operated in the AWS cloud.

• Implement new functions in Python and Django and further develop existing ones
• Build interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Django templates
• Develop REST interfaces and connect external systems
• Use and further develop CI/CD pipelines, create delivery packages
• Assess and resolve security findings from scans
• Coordinate technical requirements with product owner and department

The operations are predominantly remote. Customer appointments are usually in Frankfurt, on individual presence days (approximately two days every three months).

Where you end up

Depending on the project, for large corporations, in the public sector or for enterprise and medium-sized customers. Our customers almost exclusively staff these projects with permanent employees. That's why we're looking for you in a permanent position.

What you bring with you

This is what we expect:

• More than three years of development with Python and Django
• More than three years of frontend development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, ideally with Bootstrap and Django templates
• More than three years of experience with REST interfaces and connecting external systems
• More than three years of experience with CI/CD
• Experience evaluating and resolving security findings

Advantageous (not a must):

• PDF and report generation, for example with WeasyPrint or wkhtmltopdf
• Data processing with pandas
• PostgreSQL
• Geodata and coordinates
• Projects in the railway environment
• First experience with AI support in development

Project language is German

You work in the customer's team, in German, in meetings and in documentation. The customer expects German at a native language level.
