Working in a fast-paced, product-led environment, you will collaborate closely with product and operations teams to translate business needs into robust, production-ready solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on greenfield systems, take full ownership of features from design to deployment, and solve real-world supply chain and logistics challenges using modern backend technologies.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and DjangoBuild, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs supporting delivery, order processing, and tracking workflowsIntegrate third-party services such as mapping, payment gateways, and notification systemsCollaborate with product and operations teams to convert requirements into scalable technical solutionsEnsure backend systems are highly performant, reliable, and responsive under real-time workloadsParticipate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes to maintain engineering qualityTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend components for performance and scalabilityContribute to architectural decisions that support growth and operational efficiencyWhat Makes You a Great Fit3–5 years of hands-on experience developing backend applications using Python and DjangoStrong understanding of RESTful API design, ORM concepts, and database design using PostgreSQL or MySQLExperience working in fast-paced startup or product-driven environmentsAbility to design and implement solutions that scale with growing operations and logistics complexitySolid foundation in data structures, debugging, and performance optimizationExposure to greenfield development or early-stage product builds is a strong advantageFamiliarity with microservices architecture, Docker, or cloud deployments is a plusPrior experience in logistics, supply chain, or hyperlocal delivery platforms is beneficialOwnership mindset with the ability to take features from concept through production
