Description: The Austrian National Bank in 1090 Vienna is looking to strengthen the team 2 internship in the area of banking analysis for a period of 4 - 6 months (employment level 100%) from January 1st, 2027 or from July 1st, 2027

Full-time (limited until June 30th, 2027 or until December 31, 2027)

Reference designation: 5123

Your tasks

* Ongoing monitoring and participation in the preparation of banking supervisory analyzes with reference to sectors and individual banks

* Participation in the further development of supervisory systems and tools in coordination with the European Banking Union

* Support in the analysis and preparation of banking supervisory data as well as participation in cross-group projects

* Creating presentations on the above-mentioned subject areas

Your profile

What you bring with you

* Ongoing studies (Bachelor's or Master's) with a focus on quantitative methods and/or data science are absolutely necessary

* Very good knowledge of analysis and evaluation software (such as R or Python)

* Very good MS Office knowledge (especially Excel and Powerpoint)

* Completed internships or experience in the financial sector is an advantage

* Strong team and communication skills

* Ability to work independently
