Together, we imagine and build a sustainable future, by training the actors who will shape tomorrow's transitions. what we expect from you: As a postdoctoral fellow, you are at the heart of our research and innovation missions assigned to the Center Microelectronique de Provence, Bioelectronics department. Within this service you contribute to interdisciplinary research in the service of scientific and societal innovation. Entity: The Bioelectronics Department of the Microelectronics Center of Provence develops innovative technologies at the interface between electronics, materials and life sciences. Strategic recruitment objective: Strengthen the research capabilities of the Bioelectronics Department with a postdoctoral fellow capable of developing a new generation of flexible organic optical sensors for imaging calcium. Main missions: o You develop and micro-fabricate miniaturized flexible organic photodetectors (OPDs) intended for the production of high-resolution multipixel matrices. o You develop flexible reading electronics based on field effect transistors (FET), allowing the amplification and measurement of the very weak photocurrents generated by the OPDs. o You study the physical limits linked to the miniaturization of photodetectors and establish the design rules by analyzing in particular the dark current, noise, detectivity and dynamic range. o You ensure the electrical and optical characterization of the platform OPD–FET under illumination conditions representative of calcium imaging. o You analyze the performance of the devices in order to optimize their integration into high-density flexible matrices intended for neuronal imaging.
