Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Python Developer (Remote) with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. Responsibilities

• Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements.
• Writing scalable code using Python programming language.
• Testing and debugging applications.
• Developing back-end components.
• Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Coordinating with front-end developers.
• Reprogramming existing databases to improve functionality.
• Developing digital tools to monitor online traffic.
• Develop runbooks and workflow

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in software development.
• Strong Experience with Python, Flask, Django, Fast API, Pytest and UnitTest.
• Experience with AWS- RDS, ECS, S3, R53, SDK-AWS-PYTHON, IAM, security, network, etc.
• Experience with CICD, Jenkins, Kafka, automation pipeline and Docker
