Description: For our customer in the Waasland region we are looking for a system and network administrator, within this position your duties are as follows:

- You ensure a stable, secure and high-performance IT environment and monitor the continuity of our systems.
- You manage, monitor and optimize Windows and/or Linux server environments, including storage, virtualization platforms, backups and disaster recovery.
- You design, implement and manage our LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN networks and configure routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
- You monitor identity & access management, network segmentation, access control and monitoring vulnerabilities.
- You provide support to users and take on helpdesk and service desk tasks where necessary.
- You have a bachelor's degree, master's degree, graduate degree or equivalent experience.
- You have experience in System and network management.
- You have knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V and/or Proxmox,..
- You know TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, firewalls, cloud platforms and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- You communicate smoothly in both Dutch and English.
- You work smoothly with monitoring tools and automate via Powershell, Bash or Python.
