Our client, an internationally successful medical technology company, is looking for a committed personality in the area of IT security infrastructure engineering who works with modern technologies, continuously develops security solutions and makes an important contribution to a stable and secure IT infrastructure.** **Your Challenge** * Operation, further development and hardening of the IT security infrastructure * Implementation and optimization of modern security solutions in the infrastructure and cloud environment * Analysis, processing and prevention of security incidents as well as support in incident response * Carrying out vulnerability assessments as well as planning and implementing suitable hardening measures * Automation of security processes and continuous optimization of the security landscape * Participation in exciting infrastructure and security projects as well as close collaboration with internal IT and infrastructure teams * Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as support in 2nd and 3rd level support **Your qualities and talents** * Completed studies in the field of computer science, systems engineering or IT security * Several years of professional experience as a system engineer, infrastructure engineer or security engineer * Very good knowledge of the Linux environment as well as experience in the administration and security of Linux systems * Experience with networks, firewalls, security monitoring and vulnerability management * Good knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g. Bash or PowerShell) * Ideally experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes as well as hybrid infrastructure or cloud environments * Analytical, structured and independent way of working as well as a high level of initiative * Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written **Our customer offers you a modern and international working environment with a lot of creative freedom and an open corporate culture.
