Within the Supply Chain Department, the Quality of Achievements and Non-Destructive Examinations Department of EDF, has a decisive role in supporting the production fleet, is involved in new projects. It is responsible for study and inspection activities in the field of Non-Destructive Examinations (END) and implemented on nuclear power plants in operation, in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and welding, for manufacturing, modifications and repair activities in the factory or on a power plant. You will participate in the development and evaluation of innovative methods of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using Eddy Currents (CF). In this context, your main missions will be:? Study signal processing methods using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and design a methodology for calibrating multi-element eddy current (ECA) sensors.? Develop data processing and analysis tools in Python, then carry out the experimental tests necessary for their validation.? Evaluate the methods developed, analyze their performance and formalize the results in the form of technical recommendations and a methodological guide. You will be accompanied by your tutor throughout the internship, who will be able to develop your missions according to your expectations, your desires and the technical issues encountered. Your profile?? Are you preparing a Bac+5 level diploma (Master 2 or engineering diploma) in a field related to signal processing, instrumentation, industrial systems, scientific computing, applied mathematics or in an equivalent field.? We are looking for the following skills and qualities: - You have an interest in signal processing, data analysis and development in Python. - You demonstrate scientific rigor as well as good analysis and synthesis skills. - You are autonomous, curious and enjoy teamwork in a technical environment.
