Description: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the development and growth of Lectus.org, the platform that modernizes school libraries in Chile.You will work with AWS and CI/CD to ensure efficient and stable deployments.

Phaway Tech, the technological arm of the Phaway Foundation, develops tools with high social impact, focused on improving educational management at scale.We are currently looking for DevOps for our platform lectus.org, which seeks to modernize the management of school libraries in Chile and bring reading to thousands of students.In addition to Lectus, we will soon launch new projects focused on improving education.

• Demonstrated experience working as a DevOps or similar role.
• Management of AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, OpenSearch).
• Experience with CI/CD, ideally GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Docker and deployment of microservices.
• Monitoring and logging (New Relic or other equivalent tools).
• Good understanding of networks, security and IAM.
• Familiarity with Python/Django (desirable).
• Interest in projects with real social impact.

• AWS: Maintain and improve our AWS infrastructure (ECS, S3, RDS PostgreSQL, OpenSearch), and cost optimization.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Manage staging and production environments.
• Supervise and improve monitoring and logging (New Relic).
• Collaborate with the backend team (Python/Django) to ensure stable and scalable deployments.
• Participate in the general technical evolution of the Phaway Tech ecosystem.
