As Accounting Leader, you will report to the Senior Accounting Director and be responsible for all accounting operations of the Chilean entity, ensuring compliance with local legal, tax and regulatory requirements, while adhering to company-wide accounting policies and deadlines. The ideal candidate is an accounting leader with practical experience, who is fluent in English, has a deep understanding of Chilean generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax regulations and legal reporting, and has experience in multinational environments.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical support or engineering role within a SaaS environment, with hands-on experience troubleshooting REST APIs using tools such as cURL and Postman.
- Demonstrated technical troubleshooting ability and working knowledge of SQL, engineering fundamentals, and observability platforms such as Datadog or Prometheus (familiarity with Python or Ruby on Rails is a plus).
- Excellent written communication skills and verbal in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and empathetically to non-technical stakeholders.
- Great attention to detail, rigorous prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority investigations simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to participate in a scheduled 24/7 on-call shift for incident management and client communication.
- A-player mentality with a strong bias toward action: you raise the bar, act with urgency, remain resilient in the face of ambiguity, and take responsibility for delivering results significant.

In the role of Support Engineer , you will be in charge of technical investigations, debug problems at the application and API level, manage escalations to the Engineering team, and act as an incident communication liaison during on-call shifts. You will work closely with our Frontline Support, Engineering, Customer Success and Partner Integration teams to deliver rapid resolutions and drive reliability and growth of the Checkr platform.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical support to customers and partners, investigating complex queries through the Salesforce ticket system and live screen sharing sessions.
- Perform in-depth application-level technical investigations using Snowflake, Datadog, and API log analysis, escalating unresolved issues to Engineering with clear playback steps.
- Execute standard operating procedures and adapt beyond runbooks to resolve tasks. support complex techniques efficiently.
- Act as communication liaison during 24/7 on-call shifts, translating technical engineering updates into clear customer communications and status page updates during critical incidents.
- Record and manage technical escalations, incident remediation tasks, and operational process improvements in Jira using team Kanban boards.
- Contribute and maintain internal technical documentation in Confluence to share knowledge and foster collaboration. continuous team learning.
