- Computer Civil Engineer or Industrial Civil Engineer or related career
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data management or in the development of computer solutions and 2 years in AWS. Experience in Data Engineer or Data Analyst roles.
- Knowledge at a practical level, not just academic, of services such as: Lambda Function, Glue Jobs (Spark and PythonShell), Glue Crawlers, DMS, Athena, Lake Formation, EventBridge, Step Functions.
- Knowledge in data query tools: Intermediate or Advanced SQL, Intermediate or Advanced Python.
- Knowledge in code versioning sources: Github Intermediate or Advanced.
- Participation in data-related projects, such as data modeling.

What will you have to do?
At BICE Vida we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work in the Data and Artificial Intelligence COE, belonging to the Data Planning and Governance Management. The objective of the position is to support the design and implementation of technological solutions associated with data management that promote the use and decision-making based on data at the company level. It is expected that you can lead initiatives within the same nature (data) reporting to your direct supervisor, with a high capacity to work as a team and communicate effectively with other professionals and departments.
In this role you will:
- Participate in the process of raising requirements with the business areas, supporting user areas in understanding their needs from a functional point of view.
- Design and implement automated solutions that consider the guidelines. of architecture and cybersecurity of the company.
- Lead POC (proofs of concepts) of new services or technologies to be used in data management, in conjunction with other areas involved.
- Train knowledge to the team or business areas.
- Ensure the correct use of the services Optimize the use and operation of the Data Lake. AWS in terms of usability and costs.
- Support the incorporation of new data sources to the company's centralized information repository (Data Lake).
